Reviewer Comments:

This review is almost identical to my review of the Parker Jotter with the stainless barrel. However, I am doing a separate review on the plastic barrel version because there are some details that are different from the stainless version.

First, most notably perhaps, is the plunger dome. The model I own has a flattened cap, instead of Parker's classic rounded dome. Paired with the Jotter's firm plunger action, the rather sharp edges of the plunger makes it rather uncomfortable (the plunger is firmer than that of a G2 clicky).

As you take the pen apart, you will notice that the plastic threads on the barrel are much shorter than that on the stainless model. The barrel is also much more ergonomic in my opinion, because the barrel tapers more sharply toward the very tip nose. Thus, the portion of the pen that you grip with your fingers is thicker than that of the stainless barrel.

My favorite detail on the plastic barrel is the nose tip. The plastic barrel has a stainless nose tip that is milled (I believe) instead of stamped, so the metal is quite thick. This eliminates the annoying refill click that was found on the stainless barrel, as the nose is fitted much more tightly around the cartridge.

Overall, I think it is actually better than the stainless version. For the money, this is a very cheap, reliable, but good looking pen from Parker, a company that we all know and trust.
