The uni-ball 207 is a lightweight pen with a more stylish clip than you might expect on an inexpensive office pen. It writes smoothly, although the gel takes a few seconds to dry on paper and will smudge if you try to write on a line above the line you have just written and make contact with the ink.

We were intrigued when we saw this pen on the rack at Staples. They are not widely available online yet, it appears. A sticker on the packaging that read "Precision Engineered in Germany" is what caught my eye.
